SUSAN P. MEISEL has been buying, selling, leasing, and managing residential and commercial Real Estate since 1972. She has established herself as one of the leading and most successful Brokers in New York today. Her experience in all aspects of Real Estate is unsurpassed in the Downtown market. In addition to her Real Estate company, Susan owns Meisel Decorative Arts, a unique antique store in Soho. Her husband Louis opened the world renowned Louis K. Meisel gallery in 1972, which continues to be one of Soho’s oldest and best known galleries. Susan and Louis are also successful Real Estate investors and developers, owning numerous retail stores and residential investment property. She is also a successful artist and author. Her books, "The Hamptons, Behind The Hedges", and “Hamptons Pleasures” are published by Harry N. Abrams, and she is currently working on her new book. On the weekends, she can usually be found painting in her studio in Sagaponack.
ED HICKEY renovated his first loft in the Soho area in 1976, and has been a licensed Real Estate Broker selling in the Downtown area since 1991. Beginning with Belmarc Realty, and then with The Halstead Property Company, he quickly acquired a reputation as an experienced Real Estate professional. He joined Susan Meisel in 1996, where he continues to rank among the most successful brokers in the Downtown Community. Prior to his career in Real Estate, he was an award winning professional photographer for fifteen years. He and his wife Janet, a speech and language therapist, live with their three boys, Jacob, Tyler, & Tristan, as well as a menagerie of pets, in Irvington-on-Hudson, and in Mattituck New York.
